Nutrition startup Elo Health has raised $5 million from former NFL player and from the co-founder of Oura ring. Isaiah Kacyvenski, former NFL player and co-founder of Will Ventures invested along with Petteri Lahtela, Robin Thurston od Outside Inc and Ilkka Paananen of Supercell Oy.

San Francisco-based Elo Health is a personalised nutrition brand. The venture was launched in 2020 by Ari Tulla, Derek Flanzraich and Tapio Tolvanen. Their core philosophy is to turn the food itself into a disease-fighting medicine. To achieve this they offer customised nutritional supplements.

It uses at-home blood tests to detect the user's health and then recommend personalised nutrition. They offer to take multiple tests to make sure their nutrition plan is working right. They recalibrate your plan every quarter. All their ingredients are scientifically-backed and not based on pseudoscience.

To accomplish this, they have built cutting-edge AI (from a proprietary analysis of 3,000 peer-reviewed studies) to apply to users personal health biomarkers and deliver precision to nutrition. By subscribing to the venture, one gets access to biomarker testing and nutrition tracking via their Elo app. Their core philosophy is to upgrade your health so you can unleash your full potential.
