It’s in a way giving a new name to an old relationship. The relationship between Care Advantage and Team Nurse dates back to the 2000 when Team Nurse, which has its presence across 17 locations in Virginia, was founded by Steve Mize, the founder of Team Nurse, when he purchased two locations from Care Advantage.

The end of December 2019 deal is in a way coming home for Team Nurse into the Care Advantage family at a time when the company is expanding its footprints in Mid-Atlantic at a brisk pace.

With the acquisition Care Advantage has expanded its location network to 40 locations.

This is Care Advantage’s 4th acquisition in the year 2019. It is also one of the biggest of the year gone by. The acquisition makes Care Advantage the largest privately-owned home health company in the Mid-Atlantic filling out a great enough portion of the region.
