Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday mentioned priests and MLAs in the state to contribute 30 percent of their pay rates to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic. Urban Development Minister Bhupendra Singh affirmed that all administrators will react to the call.

"On the off chance that every one of you concurs, at that point, we will contribute 30 percent of our compensation towards the CM Relief Fund, to battle COVID-19, until the pandemic doesn't go under control - be it July, August, September or October," Mr. Chouhan said in a discussion with state's priests through video conferencing.

"I advance to all MLAs to contribute 30 percent of their compensations for a quarter of a year towards CM Relief Fund, in the battle against COVID-19. I likewise bid to the individuals to add to the reserve," he included.

He likewise said that the COVID-19 testing effort will proceed in the primary fortnight of August.

"We had a COVID battle from July 1-31 wherein tests were done widely. Stage 2 of the battle will be from August 1-14 wherein we'll take steps to keep up social separating and wear covers to break the chain of contamination," he said.

"During this period Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs and other open delegates won't have any open assemblies. These should be possible using video conferencing," he included.

The Chief Minister, who himself tried positive for the coronavirus a week ago, keeps on being healthy, a clinic notice said.

Madhya Pradesh on Thursday had recorded 834 new coronavirus cases, remembering 233 for Bhopal, taking the state's count to 30,968, wellbeing authorities said. With 13 additional fatalities, the number of passings from the infection rose to 857 in the state, they included.
