New York City-based healthcare startup Jasper Health has raised $25 million in its Series A funding round. The funding round was led by General Catalyst, Human Capital, W Health Ventures, Redesign Health along with 7wireVentures.

Cancer is a complex disease that needs extra care. The venture was started in 2020 by Adam Pellegrini and Kira Wampler. It aims to provide personalized support to patients suffering from cancer, regardless of their income. They strive to give access to valuable tools, information and resources at no cost to all.

Jasper Health's platform aims to streamline and simplify cancer care by giving support and advice of cancer specialists to patients and caregivers.

Their app helps cancer patients manage their appointments, symptoms and reports. It also helps track their mood and visible side effects. Their own survey claims that 70% of its users reported lower anxiety and stress; nearly 80% of them improved medication adherence and nearly all found appointment tracking easier.

The funds will be used to improve their cancer care navigation platform, improve their sales and operations teams and further invest in their research. Their total funding so far is around $31 million. They had raised $6.8 million in their Seed round led by 7wire Ventures and Redesign Health.
