Listen to them – Give them your full attention and listen to them. Ask them about their friends, teachers, or activities they do in schools to find out how they are coping. Advise them whenever you feel they require it.

Praise for their good deeds – Children are rarely praised for good behavior. They feel that they can never be good enough. Admire them whenever they do any good thing.

Focus on their strengths - Help your child explore their strengths. Encourage them to try different activities and hobbies. Knowing their strengths is important for your child’s mental well-being.

Encourage physical activity – Physical and mental health are interconnected. Encourage your child to eat right, exercise right, get some sunlight. These all things will boost their energy. Mood and mental health.

Be a positive role model – Children and teens often watch their parents. You can be a role model to teach them the right way to deal with stress. Show them that stress is normal and can be handled in a calm and effective manner.

Teach them to build meaningful friendships – Encourage your child to make good friends at schools, at society. Show that you care for their friends by inviting classmates to your house to know more about them.
