WHO will send a team to China to check origin

The UN health agency has been pressing China since early May to invite in its experts to help investigate the animal origins of the novel coronavirus.

The World Health Organization said Monday it was sending a group to China one week from now regarding the quest for the cause of the infection that started the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

The UN wellbeing office has been squeezing China since early May to welcome in its specialists to help examine the creature roots of the novel coronavirus.

"Knowing the wellspring of the infection is incredible, significant," WHO boss Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told a virtual preparation.

"We can battle the infection better when we have a deep understanding of the infection, including how it began," he said.

"We will send a group one week from now to China to plan for that and we trust that that will lead to seeing how the infection began."

He didn't determine the make-up of the group, nor what explicitly its crucial comprise of.

Researchers accept the executioner infection bounced from creatures to people, rising in China toward the end of last year, potentially from a market in Wuhan selling colorful creatures for meat.
