Justin Bieber was replying to fans’ comments on his looks. Some even went to the extent of alleging that he was indulging in drugs abuse. In reply, Bieber said the fans had failed to realise his health condition. He clarified that he was recently diagnosed with Lyme disease.

Not just that, he also had a serious case of chronic mononucleosis which affected his skin, brain functioning, energy and overall health.

To the uninitiated, Lyme disease is transmitted through infected ticks. Symptoms include fever, chills, headache, fatigue, joint aches and a ‘bulls-eye’ rash. Infection can become severe or prolonged in some cases.
